Demands for balancing services for January until March 2018

For the time period January 2018 up to and including March 2018 NetConnect Germany GmbH & Co. KG (NCG) is inviting long term bids for the multi quality market area of NCG the product ‘Long Term Options’ (LTO) in the product variant ‘Rest of the Day’.

The published demands are used to secure dynamic effects in the balancing zones and to rise the security of supply according to the policy paper concerning the security of supply in the gas market published by BMWi.

The invitations to bid for the product LTO is being carried out for the supply (SystemBUY) of gas quantities.

Please note the following for the low CV gas invitation to bid for the the product variant Rest of the Day:

  • As of 1 January 2018 providers submitting bids for long-term Rest of theDay contracts for the supply or receipt of low CV gas may no longer deliver the physical effect they are required to provide on receiving a call order from NCG by nominating or renominating gas flows at cross-border interconnection points. Instead they will have to deliver this physical effect using other entry and/or exit points located on the low CV networks in the market area, e.g. at market area interconnection points, storage points or exit points to industrial sites.

  • The submission of bids for the supply (SystemBUY) of low CV gas quantities by the Bidder can be made for the balancing zone east and balancing zone west. The bids are accepted purely price-optimised.

The terms and conditions valid as of 1 January 2018 are provided here.
